1-RIDER Party-list Rep. Bosita to Have a Face-Off w/ MMDA Chief Nebrija Next Week?
1-RIDER Party-list Rep. Bonifacio Bosita is expected to have a face-off with MMDA Chief Edison ‘Bong’ Nebrija next week.
If this occurs, the meeting will take place at the House of Representatives in Bosita’s territory. According to reports, Nebrija has been invited to a public briefing on March 8 by the House Committee on Metro Manila Development, which is chaired by Manila 2nd district Rep. Rolando Valeriano and includes Bosita in the minority bloc.
The briefing is expected to address the MMDA’s alleged questionable road clearing operations in Manila, which Valeriano has described as “disrespectful to the city.” Although the matter does not directly affect Bosita, the March 8 House panel proceedings will be his first opportunity to speak with Nebrija unfiltered.
Bosita and Nebrija voiced different viewpoints on the “slippers” traffic issue that became viral in 2021.
Bosita, the founder of the Riders’ Safety Advocates of the Philippines (RSAP), claimed that motorcycle back-riders wearing slippers were permissible, although Nebrija, the traffic czar of EDSA at the time the matter occurred, claimed that doing so violated a traffic policy.
Both Bosita and Nebrija have a large social media following. Needless to say, it will be interesting to watch if the two will resume their disagreement, this time in the “House of the People” rather than on the road.

gud pm mga kabayan ko kung ako ang tatanungin maganda siguro ang mga local na nakakasakop ang mag organisa ng bawat nasasakupan upang saganon walang sisihan sa mga ordinansya ng bawat minicipalidad.ang dapat nalang gawin ng MMDA siguro kalinisan at kalikasan para maging maganda tingnan ang buong manila sa nakikita ko sa araw araw kung pag lalakbay may nakikita akong solusyon upang malaking kita at tulong sa mamamayan mabigyan ng trabaho at turismo nakikita nyo ba na maraming nasasayang na space sa ilalim ng mga LRT/MRT at gitna ng mga daanan bakit hinde nyo gawaan ng batas upang mapakinabangan ako ang aking nakikita dyan ay gawing fishpond hito at talapia eh educate natin ang mga tao at huwag gawing tamad para naman umunlad ang pilipinas tulong tulong tayo para umunlad po ako wailing ko kayo ipaliwanag ang gusto ko mangyari na pagandahin ang manila sa tulong ng ating gobyerno kung baga FS ang kailangan po huwag yong puro ayuda iniisip ng tao trabaho po ang dapat natin sa ating bayan salamat po god bless.
