Ogie Diaz had this revelation about Liza Soberano in his recent vlog
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz revealed that ABS-CBN did this for his former talent actress Liza Soberano.
Liza started and soared in showbiz under Star Magic, the talent management company of the Kapamilya network. Following Liza’s viral vlog in which she opened up about her career choice now, Ogie answered some issues raised by his former talent.
Ogie pointed out that if Liza did not directly thank ABS-CBN in her vlog, he is the one thanking the network for his former talent.
The talent manager-vlogger revealed that Liza did not have to undergo auditions because he personally bought the actress into the network and Ogie made sure that she was already trained. As a newbie, Liza was immediately included in the series Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo as the sister of Jake Cuenca’s character.
Then, Ogie shared something that not many people know about ABS-CBN’s kindness to Liza. He revealed that when the actress and her father were apprehensive about getting a house, it was he who approached ABS-CBN and asked if they get the advance payment for Liza’s projects.
The network agreed with this and gave the money to Liza in order for her to purchase their house in cash. He shared that if they will let the transaction pass through the bank, it will reach P17.8 million.
“At ang nakakatuwa, hindi kami tinubuan ng ABS-CBN,” Ogie Diaz shared. On the other hand, he stressed that he is not pointing this against Liza but as her former talent manager, he is expressing gratitude to the network that has done a lot for the actress.
