In a recent Showbiz Update vlog that Ogie Diaz shared, he clarified something about Liza Soberano’s screen name. He said that at first, Liza was using Hope Soberano. However, ABS-CBN chief operating officer of Star Creatives Malou Santos said that it was just a one-syllable name.

Then, the Kapamilya executive suggested using Liza from her second name Elizabeth. “Agree lahat, even si Liza nag-agree sa Liza,” Ogie stressed. Then, the talent manager said that if “Hope” was used, it somehow did not have the recall or impact.

Ogie also said that there was no issue with the screen name and the only issue came after Liza talked about this in her vlog. “Kaya ang mga tao nagtataka, ano ang issue sa name na Liza Soberano?” Ogie said.

Then, Mama Loi added that it appeared that this is an issue for Liza because she mentioned this and that even her screen name did not come from her.
