Mom Airs Dismay to School Teacher for Switching Off Fans During Class

A certain mom has expressed her dismay towards a school teacher for switching off the electric fan during class.

Public elementary schools in the Philippines play a vital role in the education system of the country. They provide primary education to millions of Filipino students every year with six-year curriculum that includes subjects such as Math, Science, English, Filipino, and Social Studies.

These schools are usually government-funded and offer free education to all students who meet the enrollment requirements. One of the challenges that public elementary schools face is the lack of resources.

However, many schools lack basic facilities such as books, blackboards, libraries, computer rooms, electric fan, and playgrounds.

The Department of Education in the Philippines is continuously working to improve the education system, including public elementary schools.

Rizza Cuesta Delosreyes, a Facebook user, expressed her dissatisfaction online after her child’s teacher supposedly turned off the fan during class discussions to save electricity. This post received different reactions from other netizens.

Delosreyes is seeking assistance from the online community as she intends to file a complaint against her child’s school. She claims that the teacher regularly switches off the fan during class to conserve electricity, which she finds unacceptable.

Additionally, Delosreyes is disappointed because the school allegedly solicited donations for a solar panel but did not provide sufficient comfort for the students.
