Unidentified Man Tries to Steal Ensure Milk From Drug Store in Bacolod City

An unidentified man was caught on camera trying to steal an Ensure milk from a drug store in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

The Philippines has seen a rise in robbery crimes in recent years, with many incidents occurring in major cities such as Manila, Cebu, and Davao. These crimes can range from petty theft to armed robbery, and they often have severe consequences for both the victims and the perpetrators.

One of the factors contributing to the increase in robbery crimes is poverty. Many Filipinos are struggling to make ends meet, and some turn to crime as a means of survival. Others are enticed by the prospect of quick and easy money, particularly those who have limited job opportunities or who lack education and skills.

Unidentified Man

Angeline Keith Calago, an employee of the Daily Dose Pharmacy, recently shared her experience with an unidentified man who attempted to steal milk from their store located at the VSB Building in Bacolod City.

During their lunch break, Calago and her colleagues noticed a man taking a product from the store through CCTV footage. Calago immediately confronted him and blocked the door to prevent him from leaving the establishment.

Despite her efforts, the suspect was able to get away and even punched Calago when she tried to stop him. The suspect dragged her to the street, but she was able to seek assistance from passersby.

Calago claimed that the suspect even threatened to return and take drastic actions against her. The incident took place at 16th Lacson Street, VSB Building, and Calago is urging the online community to help identify and report the suspect to the police station.
