Catriona Gray Slams Facebook Page: 'Fake news peddler, kaloka'

Catriona Gray stressed that she is not yet married

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray slammed a Facebook page claiming that she will be part of Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes’s movie.

Catriona made a massive impact in the world of pageantry. She brought home the fourth Miss Universe crown for the Philippines, which is something Pinoy pageant fans are really proud of.

After her reign, Catriona signed a contract with Cornerstone Entertainment and has done several TV appearances and shows already. It is also known to many that the beauty queen is also a singer.

Back in 2022, Catriona Gray shared in an interview that she is ready to explore the possibility of doing acting projects. She is also open to doing an acting project with her now-fiance Sam Milby.

However, as of this writing, Catriona has not announced any upcoming movie project, contrary to this claim made by Pinoy History Facebook Page.

In a post, the said FB Page claimed that Catriona will be part of the movie Papaano Kung ‘Di Namatay si Jose Rizal? It was also alleged that the beauty queen will portray the character of Josephine Bracken and the character of Jose Rizal will be played by Dingdong Dantes.

The post also included a photo of Catriona wearing a Filipiniana costume. In the comment section of the post, based on a popular showbiz site, the fourth Pinay Miss Universe slammed this claim. She also reacted to her name being used in the post, “Catriona Gray-Milby.”

“Grabe naman this page, [laging] fake news peddler. Wala akong part [sa] movie na ‘to. Name ko po Catriona Gray – hindi po ako married. Kaloka [smile with cold sweat emoji],” the beauty queen stressed.
