Sunshine Dizon Speaks on Separation w/ Husband Timothy Tan
SUNSHINE DIZON – The Kapuso actress spoke on his breakup with her husband, Timothy Tan, with whom she has two children.
Living a celebrity life, the separation of actress Sunshine Dizon with her non-showbiz husband, Timothy Tan, is not a secret to the public. Their breakup eight years ago was surrounded by several issues.
Timothy was accused of cheating on Sunshine which allegedly resulted to their separation. The former couple was blessed with two (2) children – a daughter named Doreen Tan and a son named Anton Tan.
It was in 2010 when Sunshine and Timothy officially tied the knot. The downfall of their marriage came after six (6) years since their wedding. Their separation led to unfortunate scenarios including the filing of charges.
Meanwhile, Sunshine Dizon and Timothy Tan have arrived at the common ground of wanting to give their children the life of having both of their parents. During her recent guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the Kapuso actress revealed that their initial setup was they both stayed under the same roof but sleeping on different rooms.
Sunshine admitted that she swallowed her pride as she wanted to give her children a complete family. The actress expressed that she kept herself busy at work to survive those hurtful moments of her life. However, it was quite late when she felt that really need to process things and she is still in the process now.
According to Sunshine Dizon, she’s asking herself on where she felt short why her relationship with Timothy Tan went that way. She stressed that until now she could not find the answer.
“To this day I still question myself somehow, ‘Where, saan ako nagkulang?’. Hanggang ngayon wala pa rin [on the answer to the question],” the actress said. Here’s the video of the interview posted on YouTube:
