Is it true that Enrique Gil will be a Kapuso soon?

Rumor has it that actor Enrique Gil will transfer to GMA-7 and it was claimed that he will be paired with Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera in a project.

Enrique has long been under Star Magic, the management firm of ABS-CBN. When his reel and real-life partner Liza Soberano transferred to Careless, the management company established by James Reid, questions surfaced if Enrique will also transfer.

Previously, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, the one previously handling Liza’s career, shared that when the actress signed a contract with Careless, Enrique still had an existing contract with ABS-CBN.

Back in October 2022, rumors surfaced that Enrique Gil was already negotiating with the Kapuso network. However, it was alleged that their negotiation did not push through because the actor had a lot of demands. Enrique’s camp denied the allegation against him.

Twitter page Entertainment Uptake shared in a tweet on February 11, that Enrique’s “transfer” to GMA is “almost a done deal.” It was also stated in the post that the actor will be paired with the Primetime Kapuso Queen.

“SCOOP: It’s almost a done deal. The other half of LizQuen, Enrique Gil, will soon transfer to GMA-7. He will be paired with the country’s Primetime Queen, Marian Rivera,” the Twitter showbiz page stated.

The Twitter Page also congratulated Enrique but with this “patutsada”: “Makakatikim ka na rin ng top rating show na hindi katawa-tawa gaya ng Bagani. Congratulations Quen!” The post included the photos of Enrique and Marian with the text saying that they will work together in a series.
