Enrique Gil is rumored to transfer to the Kapuso network
The camp of actor Enrique Gil denied the claim that veteran entertainment writer Cristy Fermin had about his alleged demands to GMA-7.
Last month, rumors surfaced that Enrique was already negotiating with the Kapuso network regarding his transfer. However, allegedly, this did not push through because the actor has a lot of demands before he will officially become a Kapuso.
Cristy mentioned in her showbiz talk show that Enrique wanted GMA to hire the director, writer, and personal assistant he worked with when he was still in ABS-CBN. Rumor has it that because of these demands, his contract signing with GMA did not happen.
However, a source close to the actor denied Cristy’s claim, based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal. The said source said that this is just a recycled issue as this also surfaced when Enrique Gil and his real-life sweetheart Liza Soberano were rumored to transfer to the Kapuso network.
“Those were the claims before na parang na-revive ulit,” the source said. When asked if the actor will indeed transfer to GMA, his camp said that there is a possibility of this.
Enrique’s contract with ABS-CBN has already expired last September. “Parang April pa when I heard na it is being considered. But now, parang ‘waiting for offer’ ang status?” the source shared.
The camp actor’s also said that they are waiting for GMA or ABS-CBN’s offer. There is no final decision but one thing is sure and this is the fact that Enrique has no contract with the Kapamilya network as of now.
It was also said that talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared that Enrique is ready for pitching. This means that whatever project, teleserye, or movie, will be presented to him and if he will like it, then, this will go to the next level of production.
However, if Enrique will not like the project that was pitched to him, then, he will be presented by another one. “Ang alam ko ayaw muna ni Quen na pumirma kahit saang network parang feeling ko, kung saan pipirma si Liza Soberano, doon siya pipirma. Kung pipirma si Liza, ha?” Ogie said about Enrique Gil.
