Grade 12 Student who Fell from the 6th Floor of a Building in Muntinlupa City Died

A grade 12 student was declared dead after allegedly falling from the 6th floor of their school building in Muntinlupa City.

After falling from the highest level of the San Beda College Alabang building, a 17-year-old student perished. The victim is a Grade 12 student who lives in BF Homes in Parañaque City, according to Muntinlupa City police.

According to the police report, the event occurred at 12:05 p.m. in a school campus. Jasmin Aspuria Romano, canteen concessionaire at the said school witnessed the victim fall from the upper section of the building after she parked her car just in front of it.

She promptly reported the event where a school nurse assisted her in transporting the victim to Asian Hospital and Medical Center. However, it was too late, and the victim was declared dead at 1:16 p.m.

The local police are still looking into whether there was foul play in the victim’s death. In this context, San Beda College Alabang made a statement regarding the victim’s death.

“This afternoon, February 9, 2023, an unfortunate incident involving one of our students unfolded on campus, leading to the loss of one precious life. This incident all came as a shock to our community. No words could describe the pain we feel as we try to comprehend why such a thing happened. Our prayers are with the deceased’s family as we stand with them and offer profound sympathy,” said Fr. Gerard Ma. De Villa, rector and president of the college.

“We cannot foresee how this incident may affect each of us. At this critical moment, we urge everyone to remain calm and trust in the healing power of Our Lord Jesus Christ,” he added.
