This operation was difficult, according to Arnel Pura, officer-in-charge of NBI-Mandaue. It required a great deal of patience because it involved a series of text messages and transactions.

The woman admitted to participating in a “cam show,” or posing undressed online via a social networking platform’s chat. According to the report, the fee ranges from P300 to P1,500.

Pura stated that an undercover investigator conducted a transaction with the woman, confirming reports that she was involved in online s3xual exploitation. According to the authorities, the majority of her customers are foreigners. According to Pura, based on evidence provided by the US government, the woman allegedly offered her siblings to her clients.

To lure consumers, the suspect frequently sends undressed images of her siblings. When reporters questioned her, she stated that she would provide images or do cam shows depending on the needs of her clients.

Pura stated that the suspect’s siblings are currently in the hands of social welfare services. The woman will face charges for violating Republic Act 11862, also known as the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2022.
