Old photos before the supposed cosmetic surgery of social media personality Lai Austria resurfaced on social media.
Lai has become a trending topic online after she posted a photo with Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes. She wrote an intriguing caption that caught the attention of many netizens. With this, fans of Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera slammed the social media personality.
Later on, Lai edited her caption and netizens said that she probably got afraid of Marian. Past issues about Lai also resurfaced on social media. Netizens commented about her looks and her personality online. She was also accused of just using this controversy to gain the attention of many people.
A netizen commented on Philnews’s Facebook Page with a photo of a woman. Supposedly, this was the face of Lai Austria before she went under the knife. “Nuong hindi pa naretoke, ang layo kumpara kay Mrs. Marian Dantes,” Facebook user Juvil Sigue Morales commented and this included a photo of a woman with text: “THEN” and “LAI AUSTRIA.”
Some netizens also commented on this supposed old photo of Lai. “Fake pala yung itsura nya ngayon,” a netizen commented.
The said photo was a screenshot from the video that was posted on DJ3 TV YouTube channel. In the 2-minute video, supposed “then and now” photos of the currently controversial social media personality were shown.
There were speculations among some netizens that Lai is a transwoman. “Wag kayo mag alala kasi retokada yan pero s marian tunay ang ganda non…tsaka walang retoke…hndi parin yan ang tatalo kay marian…kalingking lang yan ni.marian,” another netizen commented.
Meanwhile, it appeared that Lai Austria does not mind the bashing that she is currently receiving. She even shared a photo of her eating “Ding Dong” snack mix.
