Young Man

Greetings! I would like to invite you to go on a date with ME on February 14, 2023… Please wear something cute and comfy. I’ll be waiting for your response. See you!,” Palon wrote.

Hershey who lives in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental revealed that it was her first time receiving such an invitation via Gmail. She said that Edmar usually sends her hand-written letters.

“Actually na-surprised din po ako nung sinend niya ‘yun kasi usually we don’t celebrate Valentine’s kasi medyo malayo po siya sa amin. Ako from Bacolod, siya po ay taga-Silay, Negros Occidental. Usually din po hand written letters ‘yung gamit niya kung mag invite siya, first time niya po nagpadala ng letter through G-mail,” Salvacion said.

What is Valentine’s Day?

The annual celebration of Valentine’s Day, also known as Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, takes place every February 14. It began as a Christian holiday celebrating one or more early Christian martyrs by the name of Saint Valentine.

Many couples go out for a date or spend the day together during Valentine’s.
