Gelli De Belen Encourages Filipinos To Celebrate Valentines Day 2021 Despite Pandemic

VALENTINES DAY – Filipina actress Gelli de Belen encouraged Filipinos to celebrate the love month despite the pandemic.

Valentine’s day always falls on February 14. It is a day of celebration for romantic and religion. Lots of people are excited to celebrate the day of love.

People buy chocolate of flowers or express their love and appreciation for the people in their life whether they are their friends, romantic partners, co-workers or family members. Sometimes, they prepare a nice dinner, going to movies, or host a Valentines Day party.

Recently, actress Gelli de Belen shared her secret to her 23-year marriage to actor Ariel Rivera. Based on a report from PUSH, the 47-year-old singer said being married to him is more than just about love.

“Siguro I’m coming from somewhere na 23 years ng kasal kaya nasasabi ko ito pero for them as young as them, sakto sa akin na nag-re-respetuhan sila at they trust each other. Eventually everything will follow as long as you really work at it. It never ends. Walang happy ending pagkatapos ng kasal. Kailangan pinagtratrabahuan mo talaga yung relationship,” Gelli said.

Gelli de Belen also shared what relationship advice worked for her and her husband through the years. She said finding who is best for you and having respect for each other is a big deal.

The prominent actress also encouraged Filipinos to celebrate Valentine’s day regardless if they’re in a relationship or not. She said people should always make an impact and make a room for celebrating the love month.

“Kailangan nating gawan ng impact. there’s always room for celebration when it comes to love. Dumaan man ang pandemya, dumaan man ang war, kailangan nating bigyan ng space ang pag-celebrate ng pag-ibig. It doesn’t have to be a romantic love, just love yourself. I-celebrate mo na mahal mo sarili mo, i-celebrate mo ang possibility na puwede kang magkaroon ng romantic love one of these days. We should always find an excuse to celebrate love,” she explained.
