Female Customer Flexes Spoon-Sized Pandesal
PANDESAL O TAKOYAKI – A female customer has flexed the spoon-sized pandesal she bought from a bakeshop worth P2.00.
Over the past few years, the inflation or rising cost of basic commodities and other products becomes one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in different regions all around the world.
Inflation causes a big problem among Filipino people especially those who were earning a minimum wage or less. The increasing prices of petroleum products cause a domino effect on other products and services.
Several establishments did not impose an additional charge but adjusted the price of their products especially when it comes to bread.
A Facebook user named Danica Rose Bayubay has shared a photo of a tiny-sized pandesal she bought from a bakeshop in the area. The post immediately spread like a wildfire online and elicits comments from internet users.
In the photo, the pandesal break is quite smaller compared to the regular bread being sold during the previous years. She purchased the pandesal for P2.00 each but they were small as takoyaki.
The cute-sized pandesal was small as ‘a spoon’. However, the female customer revealed that it was the smallest in the package.
“So far, ‘yun naman ang pinakamaliit sa supot. ‘Yung iba ay mukhang pandesal pa naman,” Bayubay said.
