Kapuso actor Paolo Contis talks about bashers and his issues in his personal life.
PAOLO CONTIS – Unapologetically, Paolo Contis says he’s not affected of any bashing and said that his personal life is not included in his celebrity status.
Being a celebrity means allowing people to dive into your personal life. This is one thing that comes with being famous , your responsibility to the public. But Kapuso actor Paolo Contis has a different view about this.
According to him, being famous does not include public interfering with his personal life. He understands his work and job as an actor but he cannot allow people to tell him what he should like explaining himself and telling them everything about his life.
To recall, the actor has become highly controversial after his split with Kapuso actress LJ Reyes has been confirmed. Reyes confirmed that there’s a third party involved and at the height of the split issue, Contis was spotted with his leading lady in a film, Yen Santos. At that time, they went to Baguio together and the actor said that he went there with her as a friend.
And recently, in an interview with PEP, he insisted on ficxing his issues his privately. He admitted to doing a bad thing but he doesn’t see this as enough reason to apologize to the public.
He explained, “So I did bad things, yes, alam ko yun, pero hindi sa tao, hindi sa tao, bakit ako magso-sorry sa tao? Hindi naman sila yung…wala naman silang kinalaman dun sa nangyari.”
In the report, he added that the intense and excessive bashing at him has no effect. These negative comments doesn’t affect him unless this kind of comment is directed at his loved ones. He feels bad as these people close to him and clearly out of the issue he was in got dragged into his mess.
