Barbie Forteza Thanked Supporters of “FiLay” Tandem with David Lacauco
Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza is feeling grateful to the supporters of “FiLay” or Fidel-Klay tandem with David Lacauco on the “Maria Clara at Ibarra” TV series.
During a product endorsement press conference, the Kapuso star claimed to be pleased with the positive response from viewers and followers of her team David in the hit fantasy-drama “Maria Clara at Ibarra” on GMA Network. Their team was dubbed “FiLay” or “Fidel-Klay” after their individual personas.
Barbie, on the other hand, claims that despite having been with several leading guys, the most recent of which is David, her heart still belongs to her partner, Kapuso star Jak Roberto. She claimed that practically all of his leading men became friends with her after the project.
“Aside from David, I’ve been paired with other GMA leading men na naging kaibigan ko rin naman talaga. I cherish my friendships with them and so sabi ko nga kahit napaka-unexpected ng success ng FiLay, hindi ko naman makakalimutan yung lalaking nagpasaya sa akin for the past five years and still counting,” said Barbie.
“Yung lalaking kasama ko noong pandemic na natatakbuhan ko ng personal struggles ko. The one who I share my victories and struggles with. Kumbaga in-accept niya ako ng buong-buo and ganun din ako sa kaniya. Hindi ko naman makakalimutan yun because of FiLay,” Barbie explained.
Barbie, on the other hand, remains appreciative of the achievements that both FiLay and MCI have achieved. This is one of the Kapuso Network’s most successful and well-known shows.
“But then I’m so grateful for this blessing and success with David right now. We’ve very good friends and to be honest, dito lang kami sa Maria Clara at Ibarra naging close dahil pareho kaming introvert. Nagpapasalamat ako dahil sa FiLay, I gained a new friend. Ang dami kong natututunan sa kaniya in terms of business,” she said in the interview.
