Netizen Flexes Gucci Jacket From ‘Ukay-Ukay’
A male netizen has flexed his Gucci jacket he bought from ‘ukay-ukay’, he was surprised after learning that it costs P95,000.
Gucci is a high-end, luxurious fashion house based in Florence, Italy. Handbags, ready-to-wear, footwear, accessories, and home décor are among its product categories. It licenses Coty, Inc. the use its name and branding.
The fashion brand is very popular in different countries all around the world including the Philippines. A lot of people were patronizing the brand because of its quality products although it is quite expensive.
A Facebook user named Son Castro Ricardo has shared the photos of the Gucci jacket he bought from ‘ukay-ukay’. The post immediately spread like a wildfire online and elicits reactions from internet users.
In the photo, Ricardo strikes a pose in front of the mirror and takes a selfie. He is wearing his newly-purchased jacket from Ukay-ukay while holding an Aquaflask tumbler. At first, everything seems to be pretty normal.
Castro was surprised after learning the price of the Gucci oversize technical jersey jacket he bought from an ukay-ukay stall. The jacket is being sold for $1,750 or P95,000 on Gucci’s website.
The latter also shows the tag of his jacket. However, Son clarified in his comment that it was just an imitation and not authentic.
