ALDEN RICHARDS – In an interview with Boy Abunda, the Kapuso star revealed the celebrities who almost became his girlfriend.

One of the most successful stars in the Philippine showbiz industry is Kapuso actor Alden Richards or Richard Reyes Faulkerson Jr. in real-life. He had his huge break in a segment of the GMA-7 noontime variety show Eat Bulaga.

The pairing of Alden and Maine Mendoza in the Eat Bulaga segment opened a lot of opportunities for them. The Kapuso actor was offered and did several lead projects under the network. Most of these projects were TV series.

The success of the showbiz career of Alden Richards is really visible. However, on the other side, his love life has visibly taken the back seat as well as the actor is visibly very busy. Alden named Wynwyn Marquez and Julie Anne San Jose. However, both situations did not lead further to a romantic relationship as he prioritized work.

Based on the article, Alden Richards admitted that he was the one at fault why his blossoming relationship with Julie Anne San Jose then did not lead to an official romantic relationship. According to him, they did not talk for years but he was already able to apologize to the actress.

“I decided to mag-focus na lang po talaga sa work. Yun po yung hiningi ko ng sorry sa kanya,” the Kapuso actor said.

According to Alden, after almost seven years of not talking to each other and avoiding the actress, he had a chance to apologize to her when there was just the two of them in the green room in Studio 7. Based on the article, he apologized to the actress and it also gave him relief that they are okay.

“Nung kami pong dalawa na lang sa green room, ni-lock ko po yung pinto. And then I talked to her na, ‘I’m really sorry for what happened. Iniwan kita and there’s no one to blame but me…’ Okay po siyang kausap,” Alden said. The actress is now in a happy relationship with their fellow Kapuso, Rayver Cruz.
