Actor Marco Gumabao shared that he is “duwag” regarding ghosts and horror stories.

The actor admitted that playing Victor in the movie was challenging for him because he does not know anything about magic. He had to go through a workshop on magic for his role. In the movie, his character is not scared of ghosts but in real life, Marco said that it is the other way around.

Just like Bela Padilla who admitted that she does not like watching horror movies and avoids doing this film genre, Marco Gumabao also said that he is not that brave when it comes to this aspect, based on the article in Bandera.

Duwag din ako sa multo, although never pa ko nakakita,” he said. Then he shared what he experienced in Baguio when he was shooting for a TV series.

“But once, when I was shooting a soap for ABS-CBN in Baguio, natutulog ako sa hotel room ko when I felt something strange. Pakiramdam ko, may nakapatong sa ulo ko at may naririnig akong footsteps sa loob ng room. So nagtalukbong na lang ako to sleep,” the actor shared.

Marco Gumabao also shared that he avoids watching horror movies because the scary images remain in his mind and it will remind him that he is alone at night.

Meanwhile, when asked about his experience working with Bela Padilla as his leading lady, the actor said that when he was still a newbie, he and the actress already met in ABS-CBN. At first, Marco said that he was “kabado” because he knows that Bela already did several hit movies and she is also now a director.
