Bea Alonzo’s Lawyer to Sue Those Spreading Fake News About Her Farm in Zambales
The lawyer of actress Bea Alonzo warns to sue those individuals spreading fake news about her farm in Zambales.
Bea Alonzo’s legal team has issued a warning to those circulating false information about the Kapuso actress’s 6-hectare estate in Iba, Zambales. According to the claim, Bea stole her Beati Farm from an Aeta community that used to dwell there.
On January 14, a Twitter user commented on Bea’s YouTube video, in which the actress and her family can be seen feeding their Aeta neighbors. The actress prepared Chicken Hamonado and Arroz Valenciana with her brother James and sister-in-law Thalia.
Many people thanked Bea for her kindness and for elevating our Aeta sisters. Some, however, disagreed with the girl, such as the netizen who stated, “That’s fine, now how about giving their land back?” The aforementioned netizen’s post on Twitter has since been deleted, but a screenshot of it has reached Bea’s camp.
Bea’s lawyer, Joey Garcia of the GERA law company, issued an official statement warning individuals circulating land-grabbing allegations against the actress. He highlighted that Bea is the lawful owner of the property in question and that no farm or property is stolen from others.
“Let this message serve as a stern and final warning to that fellow who made the disparaging remarks against Ms. Bea Alonzo on social media to retract his/her unfounded accusation and to cease from further making defamatory statements that bring disrepute to our client.
“Otherwise, we shall be constrained to initiate all the appropriate legal actions against him/her in no time,” the lawyer’s statement appeared on a website.
