Netizens have these “awkward” reactions to the letter that Allan Crisostomo, the waiter in the viral video of actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga, wrote.

Days after the video of Alex smearing Allan with icing during her birthday celebration went viral, the actress-vlogger apologized through a social media post. The apology came after a massive amount of criticism that Alex received.

Prior to saying sorry, Alex’s camp tried to explain what happened through a publicist. It was said that Mommy Pinty and Alex have become close to the waiter as the catering service is constantly being hired by the celebrity’s mom.

However, the camp of the waiter denied the claim that they are close. It was said that it was Allan’s first time serving during Alex’s birthday celebration.

Amid the issue, Alex Gonzaga apologized and photos of her with Allan Crisostomo talking circulated online. A photo of Allan’s letter also surfaced on social media. In the letter, the waiter was sort of attesting that Alex went to where he was working and they talked. Allan also said in his letter that he and the actress-vlogger are now okay.

This letter that Allan wrote garnered negative reactions in the online community. DJ Chacha asked why there was a letter and said that it was like a police report.

Actor-singer Reb Atadero, who revealed his bad experience working with Alex Gonzaga, also shared his reaction. “May acknowledgment slip?” Reb wrote in his Twitter post adding that he hopes this will be a lesson for Alex.

Several netizens on a popular showbiz site also shared their negative reactions. They questioned why Allan Crisostomo was the one who wrote a letter when Alex Gonzaga should have done that because she was the one apologizing.
