Police Attempt to Sell Illegal Drugs to Co-worker Arrested in Manila
Authorities arrested a police after he allegedly attempted to sell illegal drugs to his co-workers in Manila.
A police officer was caught by his colleagues after reportedly selling illegal drugs known as shabu to a guy in a buy-bust operation in Sta Cruz, Manila, on Monday night. According to the article, the buyer is also a police officer.

PSSg Ed Dyson Banaag, 34, is a member of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) stationed in Camp Crame and a resident of Tramo St., Brgy. San Isidro, Pasay City. The joint troops of the Manila Police District (MPD), the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) apprehended a suspect.
According to the report, the suspect was apprehended in the buy-bust that occurred on Rizal Avenue, the intersection of Lope de Vega St in Sta Cruz at around 8:45 p.m. Prior to this, officials acquired information about the suspect’s alleged unlawful activity.
As a result, he was monitored and later targeted in a buy-bust operation. When the transaction went well, a police officer pretended to be a poseur buyer and swiftly detained the defendant.
A plastic sachet containing more than 25 grams of shabu with a market worth of P47,000, boodle money with original P1,000, 9mm service pistols, and an NMax motorcycle were confiscated from the suspect. The suspect is presently in the custody of the NCRPO-RDEU and will face administrative charges as well as a breach of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002, throughout the fiscal year.
