ALEX GONZAGA – Kris Lawrence speaks about the issue of Alex Gonzaga and netizens did not like his “out of touch” comments.
If he’s not defending Alex Gonzaga’s action, was he glorifying it? This was the question of a netizen after reading the statements of singer Kris Lawrence about the vlogger’s issue. In a viral video, many people online expressed disgust over what Gonzaga did to a service worker in front of her celebrity friends during her birthday party.
The vlogger was called out for being insensitive but for Kris Lawrence, what she did would accordingly reap good results. His statements seemingly implied that being made fun of would give him the “most recognition”.
He even said that people must just move forward because at the end of this, “the waiter went viral, will probably get something, and gain a lot of sympathies”.
“Most recognition he ever got as a waiter. So after all the noise… I’m sure he will be grateful that this happened. Looks like people just like to extract the negative out of things instead of the positive,” he even added which triggered the people online.
His statement gave people the impression that he was out of touch and that he would rather want the waiter to be grateful that it happened because of the attention he got. Several countered his comment but he still went on saying that everything just goes down to intention and in that situation, Alex’s intention was to have fun at the cost of someone’s situation.
