Echo Dominates Blacklist International in the Grand Final Match in M4
Echo esports overpowered former champion Blacklist International after facing each other at the grand finals of M4.
Echo Philippines swept the defending world champions after falling short in the local league and at one point on the world stage. Echo wins 4-0 versus the Blacklist at the Tennis Indoor Senayan, the world’s largest Mobile Legends stage.
Blacklist finished second in the world title race. Echo Philippines will get $300,000 (P16 million) as part of the $800,000 prize pool, based on the report. As the runner-up, Blacklist will receive $120,000 in prize money.
Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno also became the first ML:BB player to win two world titles with separate teams, winning the title with Bren Esports in Singapore in 2021. Echo went on to win their first world title with two more convincing matches.
Fredric “BennyQT” Gonzales was named Finals MVP, earning him a P500,000 cash prize. He is the third Pinoy gold laner to win the accolade in an international competition, following Kiel “Oheb” Soriano in M3 and Eman “Emann” Sangco in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championships.
Meanwhile, the world’s largest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event will be hosted in the Philippines. The fifth edition of the ML:BB world championships will be held in the Philippines in December, marking the second major international competition Moonton Games has staged in the country since the Southeast Asia Cup was held in the Araneta Coliseum.
