PAGASA Says LPA to Bring Rains Over Parts of the Country

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area will bring rains over parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

On Saturday (January 14, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. A low-pressure area will continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area has been last spotted over the coastal waters of Lanuza, Surigao del Sur. The northeast monsoon will be affecting provinces in Northern and Central Luzon.

PAGASA

The low-pressure area will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte.

CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and the rest of Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Mindanao will experience similar weather condition.

PAGASA

The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over Metro Manila, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan. Amihan will also bring rest of Luzon.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over northern Luzon and the remaining parts of the country will be moderate to rough, according to the weather bureau.
