Meet Miss Curacao of the Miss Universe 2022 pageant!
MISS UNIVERSE 2022 – The coronation night of Miss Universe 2022 is just around the corner and catching much attention during the prelims is Miss Curacao.
Miss Universe Curacao 2022 Gabriela Dos Santos was crowned last May 2022. Tailing her in the first runner-up and second runner-up are Mariana Pietersz and Andreina Pereira, respectively.
Gabriela describes herself as energetic, positive, and sensitive. She believes that she is a lady who can inspire, motivate, and lead. She also serves the community and someone who encourages people to not only believe in themselves but also chase and make their ambitions come true.
Apart from doing pageants, she founded ‘Light4Change’, a non-profit organization to spread awareness about cyberbullying and prevent it from happening.
Before the actual pageant, she and Latvia’s Jekaterina “Kate” Alexeeva tested positive for COVID-19. The Latvia representative decided to withdraw her participation in the 71st edition of the prestigious pageant.
But Dos Santos went on. She documented her recovery journey and shared updates on her social media page. She was taking healthy juices and she would often share positive quotes to get her by.
And just recently, during the competition’s preliminary competition, her performance and beauty captured the attention of many people. Earlier today, the prelims were held in New Orleans where the over 80 candidates of the pageant strutted the runway wearing their evening gowns and swimwear outfits.

The Miss Universe 2022 coronation night is happening in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA on January 14 (the morning of January 15 in the Philippines).
