Jireh Lim Vents Dismay on Jollibee Yum Burger with Less Mayonnaise
Filipino singer Jireh Lim aired frustration with some staff of the famous fast-food chain Jollibee for serving Yum Burger with less mayonnaise.
The Yum Burger from Jollibee is an all-time favorite among Filipinos. With its langhap-sarap patty composed of genuine beef, it fulfills customers’ satisfaction. And it is a go-to snack for anyone looking for a superb yet economical burger that they can enjoy at any time.
Despite the iconic taste, numerous netizens have expressed their dissatisfaction with the burger on various social media channels. Netizens did not protest about the burger itself, but rather about the employees, who are quite frugal when it comes to mayonnaise.
Jireh Lim, a Filipino singer, is one of the dissatisfied customers. On Facebook, Jireh questioned the workers at the Jollibee branch where he purchased his Yum Burger because of the small quantity of mayonnaise on the burger.
His caption reads (published as is): “May bawas ba sa sweldo ang crew kapag dinamihan nila mayonnaise/dressing ng burger nila? Kahit nirequest po #mcxbranch”
His post went viral on social media, eliciting a wide range of reactions from the online community. Several netizens also posted their experiences with the renowned burger being served with less mayonnaise.
Meanwhile, Jireh withdrew his complaint against the employees of the aforementioned fast-food restaurant. The artist apologized in the comments section, explaining that he was only hungry, prompting him to question the minimal amount of mayonnaise on his burger.
“I apologize. Gutom lang ako kanina. Ok na ko busog na ko. Sa lahat ng mga nagpapakahirap mag trabaho ng marangal kahit mahirap, saludo ako sainyo hugs,” he wrote.
