3 Wanted Men Shooting Cops Serving Arrest Warrant in Isabela Arrested
Authorities arrested three (3) wanted men for allegedly shooting cops who were just serving their arrest warrant in Isabela.
Three persons wanted by the Quezon Police Station were apprehended during the police manhunt operation. According to the report, they opened fire on police officers while serving a warrant of arrest in Barangay Arellano, Quezon, Isabela.
According to police, one of them attempted to flee. In the report sent to PCol Julio R. Go, Provincial Director of the Isabela Police Provincial Office or IPPO, Rico Palas, 24, Ismael Salibad, 31, and Rex Dinulong, 16, both of Kalinga Province, were detained.
Ismael Salibad was found with one Taurus calf. A 45 with serial number NEP00755 was also seized, along with a magazine containing one bullet, one hand grenade, and a cell phone. The minor’s direct possession included one homemade shotgun with no serial number, one 12 gauge ammunition, and a smartphone hidden within his sling bag.
Rico Palas was arrested with a block of marijuana, one hand grenade, a cellphone, and one Llama cal. 45 in his sling bag, serial number 07-04-18457-96. Rico Palas is currently wanted by RTC Branch 23 in Roxas, Isabela, on a Warrant of Arrest for Robbery.
Meanwhile, the three suspects are alleged to be the ones who robbed a restaurant in Santiago as well as other robberies in towns throughout the province of Isabela. The three suspects are being held in police custody as various charges are drafted against them.
