Man Arrested for Stabbing OFW Wife 300 Times Inside Hotel in Pangasinan

Authorities arrested a man for allegedly stabbing his Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) wife 300 times inside a hotel in Pangasinan.

An OFW who had recently arrived in the nation was stabbed in a motel in Mangaldan, Pangasinan, by her spouse. According to the report, the victim is Marilyn Acosta, 39, of Poblacion, Sual, Pangasinan.

Acosta died on arrival at the Mangaldan Rural Health Unit, according to police. The suspect, Richard Acosta, 41, a security guard at the Sual Power Plant, was apprehended right away.

According to the police report, the incident occurred on January 8 at the Golden Success Hotel in Barangay Bantayan. According to the report, the couple booked into the hotel around 7:45 a.m.

After three hours, a room boy witnessed the suspect emerge from the chamber, covered in blood. The hotel workers alerted the police immediately after discovering the bloodied victim under the bed.

According to the investigator, the suspect employed minor equipment, including a knife. Police believe jealousy was a factor in the crime. According to the detective, the suspect suspected that his wife had another lover.
