A Facebook user named Levi Moon has shared some photos of National Book Store branches that have already closed. Some netizens have spotted some closed branches. The post quickly circulates online and earns reactions from social media users.

According to Levi, NBS reportedly rejected the rumors that it would be closing its branches in “expensive malls” and that only “stand-alone” shall remain way back in 2020.  However, the closure of some branches proves rumor.

The branch in Greenbelt 1 already closed last December 31, 2022.
