Elisse Joson Explains Previous Post Captioned “Battle Scars”
ELISSE JOSON – The actress clarified her “Battle Scars” social media post which she posted amid rumors that she and McCoy de Leon separated.
A lot of people were saddened by the breakup of Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon. It was last week when the Kapamilya actor confirmed that they are no longer together. According to him, there was no third party in their breakup and he was not just able to “take” matters. His statement came amid rumors linking him to a non-showbiz girl, Mary Joy Santiago.
McCoy and Elisse’s relationship were blessed with a baby girl they named Felize. It was a happy surprise for the public most especially the fans and supporters of the former couple when they introduced their daughter.
McCoy and Elisse met inside the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) House where they grew closer and developed romantic feelings to each other. After their PBB stint, they became real-life lovers as well as loveteam partners. However, after 2 years, they broke up.
Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon were separated for a year before they found themselves back in each other’s arms. They were a picture a small happy family. However, their love story has once again come to an end.
A month before McCoy de Leon confirmed his breakup with Elisse Joson, the actress had a post with a caption, “Battle Scars”. Recently, the actress explained her post.
Based on an article on Pep, at the renewal of her contract as endorser of Cathy Valencia Advanced Skin Clinic in BGC, Elisse revealed that it was the internal battle scars that she meant when she made the post.
“There’s a lot going on for me. Uhm, you know, personal life, professional life, work life… yung sabay-sabay,” the actress said.
According to Elisse, she discovered a lot of things about herself as mother of Felize. She admitted that she thought before that she is already brave enough to face different challenges in life but, as a mother now, she thinks about every step she makes.
“Now that I’m a mom, parang ngayon talaga nate-test na you don’t decide for yourself anymore, not for yourself anymore. But every decision talaga kailangang pag-isipan,” the actress said.
Based on the article, during the interview which took place a week after she made the “Battle Scars” post, Elisse Joson expressed that what she and McCoy de Leon do is “grow together”. She stressed that one cannot simply walk out when he or she finds something unlikeable about the other person instead work on it.
“Now it’s more on kahit na may mga araw na walang kilig, you know that you love each other. Parang yun kasi ang mas importante kapag mom and dad ka na,” the actress.
