ELISSE JOSON – The split of Elisse Joson and McCoy De Leon remained a trending topic online and here’s what the actress said before the confirmation.
The controversial and highly-publicized split between Elisse Joson and McCoy De Leon remained a subject of discussion on several social media platforms. They’ve had a turbulent romance and they’ve struggled really hard just to be together only to end up separating.
As much as we all know, it is an open secret that their families are against their relationship. But when Felize came, she calmed down the turbulence. However, the calm did not last long. While many were already thinking that he was going to propose soon, intriguing posts from the actor were the ones that came.
Time passed and these intriguing posts were followed by statements from the actor confirming their split.
“Hindi ko po intensyon na manakit ng tao o manloko. Sadyang dumating lang po sa point na sobrang bigat lang ng problems kaya po ako sumuko,” he wrote in one of the posts he shared on Instagram.
He insisted that there were no other people involved in their split. He did not admit his mistakes but he noted how sorry he was as to how things turned out to be.
And before the confirmation from him circulated online, Elisse expressed in an interview that marriage was their actual goal. This time, they want their marriage to be planned. She wants something simple with significant people in lives to witness.
She was not dreaming to have a grand wedding.
“Kasi siyempre, with the baby, honestly, we’re not prepared. Yun naman talaga. So ngayon, para mas maayos ang maging steps sa future, we have to prepare for something big like that. But that’s really where it will lead naman,” she said based on a report from PEP.
As for their relationship, she admitted that something has changed since they’ve become parents. They do have their arguments but she believes that it is up to the people in the relationship how to fix their issues. As for her, she will do everything for her family.
And when asked if it’s McCoy she would want to marry, she said, “I don’t see anybody else.”
