Netizen Dismayed at the Alleged “Hilaw” Lechon Naletse Ordered for An Event
A frustrated netizen aired disappointment on social media after receiving a Lechon that is allegedly “naletse” over uncooked parts.
Michelle Halasan, a Facebook user, couldn’t hide her dissatisfaction with the roasted pig she bought for their important event. Michelle’s post went viral after she uploaded videos and photographs of the Lechon pig she purchased last holiday season.
According to the netizen’s complaints, it is still raw, has blood, and some of the entrails are still present. Someone in their area, according to the uploader, allegedly offered her the said cheap Lechon.
“May nag-offer sa akin dito sa amin nasa 60 kilos daw. ₱12k tapos + ₱1500 sa magle-lechon daw. Pumayag ako dahil sa bukod sa malapit lang dito, nagdadala siya sa amin dito ng mga baboy na katay para pang-ulam, regular costumer na niya kami,” said Michelle according to the post.
But when the Lechon arrived, Michelle stated she couldn’t bear it and took out the tube, and discovered it was still raw. According to the post, the pig’s blood poured from within. It was still very raw and had internal pieces when they cut it.
“Tapos nung hinati ‘yung upper part mula leeg at ulo ay may naiwan pa doon na lamang-loob na hilaw,” she said.
Instead of tossing it away, they roasted it again, and the process is believed to have taken six hours until it was gutted and cooked. The post quickly went viral on social media, prompting a flood of reactions and comments.
