A popular restaurant in Baguio City earns praise and goes viral online for giving one-week vacation leave to all employees.
During the holiday season, most food businesses including restaurants became busy due to the massive amount of customers. A lot of restaurants have to double time, which puts pressure on the workers.
Many employees are already tired and exhausted after their shift. Some of them can’t recover their strength yet due to extreme exhaustion.
Luckily, there are some employers who understand and consider the well of their employees. A famous resto in Baguio City gives their employees a one-week vacation.
Recently, A Facebook user named Kristine Mae Radam of DIY Travel Philippines shared a photo of a notice posted in front of Good Taste Restaurant in Baguio City. The post garnered various reactions from the netizens.
The notice informs the customers that the restaurant will be closed from January 2-11, 2023. The management set January 2-9 as a vacation for employees while January 10-11 will be non-operational days.
The restaurant informed its valued customers that the operation will resume on January 12, 2023. The establishment rose to popularity for delicious yet affordable meals.
Goodtaste Restaurant-Otek is one of the busiest restaurants in Baguio City during the holiday period. The management decides to give their employees some rest after the holiday season.
