Kapuso comedian Jayson Gainza shared that he used to avoid King of Talk Boy Abunda and here is the reason why.

Jayson is now a Kapuso but in his many years on the Kapamilya network, he impersonated the seasoned TV host. Many viewers have admired how funny he looks when he impersonates Tito Boy with his signature hosting style and contagious laugh.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Jayson was asked what message he would have for Boy Abunda. “Message ko lang kay Tito Boy. Tito Boy, unang-una, sana ako naman yung gayahin niyo,” Jayson Gainza said in jest.

Then, the comedian shared that he used to avoid the seasoned TV host when they would meet in ABS-CBN hallways. It is because he was shy to meet the person he was impersonating.

However, Jayson said that Tito Boy is a kind person. “Pero mabait naman si Tito Boy nung nag-guest ako sa show niya,” he said.

Now that Jayson and Tito are both in GMA now, the comedian hopes that he would continue impersonating the seasoned TV host. “Sana maituloy ko uli yung pag-iimpersonate ko sa kanya,” he said.

Aside from Boy Abunda, the comedian said that he also wants to impersonate Asia’s Ultimate Multimedia Star Alden Richards. “Si Alden nga gusto ko rin impersonte kaso lang nahihirapan pa ako… mga two months kaya ko na,” Jayson jokingly said.

Last year, Jayson Gainza is one of the artists who signed a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center. He said that the opportunity to continue to work that the Kapuso network gave to him is one of the reasons why he is thankful for last year.

Jayson is still part of the sitcom Happy ToGetHer of John Lloyd Cruz, who is a former Kapamilya also.
