Jayson Gainza transferred to the Kapuso network
Comedian Jayson Gainza expressed gratitude to the Kapuso network after she signed a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center during the Stardom event on November 22, 2022.
Jayson started his career in the entertainment industry when he joined the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. From that, he was given a lot of opportunities to become part of different shows.
He was also featured in several movies as a Kapamilya star. This year, Jayson started to appear on GMA late last year. He was part of the sitcom Happy ToGether featuring A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz. Former Kapamilya actress Miles Ocampo also appeared on the show.
Before 2022 finally ends, GMA made Jayson Gainza’s Kapuso stint official. The former PBB housemate was one of the artists who signed a contract with GMA on Tuesday. During the Stardom event, based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Jayson jokingly said that she was surprised to be in the Kapuso network.
“Nagulat nga rin ako [na nandito na ako] pero mas nagulat kayo,” the comedian said. Jayson expressed how thankful he is to be in his new home network.
“Ako po nagpapasalamat sa mga bossing po natin. Niyakap niyo po ako at tinanggap niyo po ako nang buong-buo. Hindi ko po kayo bibiguin,” he said, adding that he hopes to work with the Kapuso network for a long time.
In his recent Instagram post, Jayson also thanked is manager. “Sa bagong yugto ng buhay ko salamat @gmanetwork @sparklegmaartistcenter sa aking Manager kuya Darryl at sa handler ko @rappalvarez sa pagaasikaso sa akin,” he said.
He also expressed gratitude to his former home network where he started his career in showbiz and the people who helped him. “Maraming salamat din sa pinanggalingan kong istasyon @abscbn @starmagicphils kuya @alan_m_real #Mr.M @direklauren kung saan ako nagsimula malaki ang utang na loob konsa inyo salamat maraming salamat po,” the comedian said.
The last show that Jayson Gainza did on ABS-CBN was the gag show Banana Sundae, formerly known as Banana Split, which aired from 2008 to 2020.
