Canceled Flights: Flight Cancellations for Monday (January 2, 2023)
FLIGHT ADVISORY – Here is the list of canceled flights for Monday (January 2, 2023) due to technical issue.
On Monday (January 2, 2023), the airport authorities announced the cancellation of a number of international and domestic flights. The flight cancellation has been declared after the airline suffered from some technical problems.
In a 7 am advisory, the following flights were advised to be canceled by the airline due to the technical issue in the Air Traffic Management Center of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Sunday, January 1, according to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), which manages Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Prior to this, transportation officials stated that flight operations in Manila should fully recover in three days. However, the officials noted that billions of pesos worth of upgrades are required to stop a recurrence of the technical problems that essentially grounded hundreds of flights on Sunday.
The technical issue affect thousands of passengers.
