List of Canceled Flights for Saturday (January 8, 2022)
The Manila International Airport Authority has released the list of canceled flights for Saturday (January 8, 2022).
The airport authorities announced the cancellation several flight due to operational requirements. The announcement has been made to ensure the safety of everyone amid the surge in COVID-19 cases.
Previously, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) set a limit in the number of arrivals at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The agency is trying to manage the impact of the health crisis.
Cebu Pacific canceled the flight due to heightened restrictions amid COVID-19. It has also reduced its flights from 16 times weekly between Manila and Bacolod to seven times per week.
The Philippine Airlines is currently entertaining a massive amount of rebooking and flight cancellation. Both airlines asked the passengers for understanding and cooperation amid the health crisis.
