Rob Gomez Shares Experience Working W/ Herlene Budol
ROB GOMEZ – Kapuso actor Rob Gomez shared his experience working with beauty queen Herlene Nicole Budol a.k.a. Hipon Girl.
Herlene Budol is a tv host, vlogger, comedian, beauty queen, and actress. She rose to fame after joining Wowowin’s segment ‘Wil of Fortune’ in 2019.
Hipon was supposed to represent the Philippines in Miss Planet International (MPI) in Uganda, however, the beauty pageant had to be postponed due to unforeseen issues.
Herlene Budol recently disclosed that she suffered alopecia during her Binibining Pilipinas 2022 stint. She said that it worsened after the her grandma’s and during her Miss Planet International journey.
The taping of Hipon’s tv series in the Kapuso network Magandang Dilag, has continued after several delays. Before the actress left for Uganda, she was able to tape for one (1) day.
It is intriguing what was done to her face, but it is said to be one of the surprises in this teleserye. The taping of Magandang Dilag continued on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Magandang Dilag’s latest teaser features a spectacular makeover of Herlene Budol. In the 30-second video released on Saturday, her character was seen with disproportionately large teeth, thick eyebrows, and a huge nose.
But afterward, Hipon transforms into a stunning lady dressed in a red gown. The new drama series also stars Angela Alarcon, Bianca Manalo, Benjamin Alves, Maxine Medina, and Rob Gomez, among others.
Rob Gomez will play Jared, one of Herlene’s two leading men, in the tv series. Her other love interest in the program is Benjamin Alves. Gomez described his character as an “athlete na fashionista.”
“Jared is a rich guy with a good heart. He’s being mistaken for being a douchebag or rude but, deep inside, he’s good hearted,” he also said.
Gomez will be working with Herlene for the first time, and he has already seen the comedian’s honest demeanor, much as we see on her vlogs.
“I’ve always seen her as a real, real person, very outspoken, very truthful. She’s true to herself and she wouldn’t lie about it so ‘yun ang pagkakakilala ko kay Herlene.”
To break the ice while on set, the handsome actor made sure to be a gentleman to Hipon.
“We’ve never met before but going through my experience of knowing her, everyday working with her, I’ve always been supportive of her in terms of our script. On our days working, I always try to make her comfortable. Every day I offer her water, food, things like that, the small stuff.”
