How far can Heaven Peralejo do in doing daring characters?
HEAVEN PERALEJO – Will ‘Nanahimik ang Gabi’ actress Heaven Peralejo do more daring roles after her recent film?
Nanahimik and Gabi is the recent film of actress Heaven Peralejo where she earned a Best Actress nomination. However, she failed to bag the award as it was given to “Deleter” actress Nadine Lustre.
Her co-stars, meanwhile, Mon Confido and Ian Veneracion bagged Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor awards. But they were very encouraging towards her that she did not feel bad at all about not bagging the top acting award. She was even thankful that she got nominated and her performance was recognized by many.
Now that she started doing sultry roles, will she continue doing it and will she take it any further?
In a report from PEP, she clarified that she actually doesn’t see herself doing it more often. This film taught her to be careful in choosing the roles and will just give this kind of role to other artists.
“I have my limits also as a woman, I respect my body. Only if the movie requires some scenes like kissing, yun lang. Ayoko ng sobrang bold. I never… I cannot,” she said.
Her limitation in doing this is already seen in her MMFF film. With the situation and pacing of her career, she is okay in “ganitong daring”.
She added, “Hanggang saan kaya? Hanggang saan din kaya ng nanay ko, kung ano ang sasabihin niya yun din ang gagawin ko. What matters most is the opinion of my parents, kung sa kanila okay yun, okay din sa akin.”
Heaven, meanwhile, with her savings from being an actress, was able to buy her own condo unit. She has also put up businesses as she is now trying to be wise in spending her hard-earned money.
