Heaven Peralejo talked about her movie ‘Nanahimik Ang Gabi’
Actress Heaven Peralejo initially wanted to decline the movie Nanahimik Ang Gabi with seasoned actor Ian Veneracion.
Heaven has a new movie for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2022. It is a suspense-thriller film directed by Shugo Praico. The young actress had intimate moments with the leading man in the movie.
In a recent press conference, based on the article in Bandera, Heaven said she thought of not doing this movie. “Akala ko nu’ng una ide-decline ko na talaga kasi ilang beses din nila akong niligawan,” she said.
Heaven Peralejo said that it took really so long before she finally said yes to this. The actress shared that those behind the movie and her side have compromised to what extent she would give.
“Ayaw din naman nila akong pilitin. Nag-compromise po kami in the middle,” the actress explained. Rein Entertainment also promised her that she would never regret accepting this project.
The production team also made her feel comfortable. Heaven also said that she is happy to know that she can do this kind of role. “They pushed me to my limits. It’s a different Heaven that you’ll see,” the actress said.
The actress also shared that her mother gave her the go-signal to do this movie even though she needed to show some flesh in this project. Heaven stressed that she was told that those intimate moments in the movie are part of the story but initially she thought of not doing these.
“Kasi siyempre nu’ng una sobrang baby ko po. Talagang hindi ako papayag sa mga ganu’n. Pero nu’ng nilawakan ko ‘yung pag-iisip ko na oo nga naman it’s more than ‘yung mga ganu’ng scenes,” the actress explained.
Heaven Peralejo said that it is about the message and she reiterated that she would not accept the project without her mother’s nod.
