Singer Miguel Vera, the Ex-Husband of Ai-Ai delas Alas, Spoke on their Failed Marriage
AI-AI DELAS ALAS – The ex-husband of the comedienne, singer Miguel Vera, said that he has no regrets on their failed marriage.
One of the Philippine showbiz celebrities who is in the industry for decades now is comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas. Thus, a huge part of her personal life is quite known to the public being a celebrity.
Martina Eileen Hernandez delas-Alas-Sibayan, the Comedy Queen started her career under GMA Network in 1991. She was a part of the several huge Kapuso shows including the GMA noontime variety show Eat Bulaga! and sitcom Ibang Klase. In the midst of her career, she transferred to ABS-CBN Network. She has also been part of several huge shows as a Kapamilya. She’s one of the judges of the Kapamilya talent search program Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) which had its first season in 2010.
After being under ABS-CBN for almost two (2) decades, Ai-Ai returned to GMA-7. She has three (3) children – Sancho delas Alas, Sophia delas Alas, and Sean Nicolo Vera.
Two (2) of the children of Ai-Ai delas Alas are her kids with her former husband, singer Miguel Vera. This January 2023, the Comedy Queen and the Singer will be reunited in a concert that will be held at the Bristol Civic Auditorium in Bellflower, California.
Speaking to Pep, one of the topics discussed with Miguel Vera was his failed marriage with Ai-Ai delas Alas who is now married to Gerald Sibayan. The Nais Ko singer said that he has no regrets on his separation with his ex-wife.
According to Miguel, he almost never uses the word “regret” in his approach towards life. Instead, he consider them as lessons he learned. He stressed his belief that things happened over the possibility of making the wrong the decision being the reason but it should only be learned from.
“Hindi ko tinatawag na regrets yun dahil nakatulong sa akin to be a better person, a better husband,” the singer said.
Based on the article, the ex-husband of the Comedienne said he learned that making a decision should not be abrupt. According to him, they had a problem because of the decision and they were not giving way for each other which led to miscommunication. Meanwhile, despite their failed marriage, he and his ex-wife had a lot of happy memories together.
“Kapag mine-mention nila si Ai sa akin, masaya siya na kasama,” the singer said.
