Nadine Lustre Breaks Silence On MMFF 2022 Best Actress Win

This is what Nadine Lustre said after winning another Best Actress award.

NADINE LUSTRE – “Deleter” lead star Nadine Lustre wins the top acting award at this year’s MMFF Gabi Ng Parangal.

The 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival’s (MMFF) 2022 Gabi ng Parangal gathered Filipino actors, filmmakers, and industry workers. The event was held at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on Tuesday, December 27.

This event was held to recognize this year’s set of winners and lead the list of winners of Nadine Lustre and Ian Veneracion for the films “Deleter” and “Nanahimik Ang Gabi”, respectively. These two films particularly dominated the winners’ list.

Nadine came wearing an off-shoulder dress and gold accessories. In her acceptance speech, she expressed that she is dedicating the award to her family and friends. She is also dedicating it to the people who have continuously supported her and to her boyfriend Chris.

Breaking her silence over her win, Nadine said that everything seems unreal to her. The awards the film has received were unexpected but she is deeply happy. She quipped, “Sobrang unreal. Para akong si Lyra, nananaginip pa rin ako.”

Being included in the MMFF is already a privilege for them and for the people to love their film is their greatest reward. This also fired up something in her. She vowed to make more films and her win also motivated her to do more after seeing the fruits of her labour.
