Here’s an explanation from Ogie Diaz after Bea Alonzo refuted his claims about her upcoming film.
BEA ALONZO – Ogie Diaz claps back to the fake news claim of Bea Alonzo regarding the story he shared about her upcoming film with John Lloyd Cruz.
In a previous article, Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo confirmed that she is going to have a new film with John Lloyd Cruz. It is going to be under Star Cinema and as much as many are aware, their films One More Chance and A Second Chance are well-loved.
The news from the actress has delighted many people, especially their fans who have been yearning for a reunion film from them for so long. However, in a video from Ogie Diaz, a source of his revealed that the actor is accordingly unaware of the said movie project.
Diaz’s source claimed that the project has not been pitched yet to him but Alonzo refuted this. In an interview, Alonzo said that he called Cruz about it and the latter denied his reported denial about the film.
She said, “Magkaibigan naman kami tinawagan ko siya and he denied that he said that.”
In a new video, Diaz reacted to this and clarified himself. He defended himself saying he wishes his claims to actually be fake news because he himself is also waiting for the iconic love team’s reunion film.
But he explained that what he said is based on his source. It was his source who said it which he only shared with his viewers.
To put an end to everything, he asked the actor’s manager about it. Rambo Nunez, Cruz’s manager, personally replied to his message. In the message, Nunez stated based on the new video of Diaz: “We don’t know yet from our end coz we haven’t reached that stage.”
