Dimples Romana had to do this during her latest movie’s premiere night
Kapamilya actress Dimples Romana admitted that she was “na-praning” during the premiere night of her Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022 movie My Father, Myself.
Dimples is not a newbie when it comes to premiere nights. With over two decades in the entertainment industry, she already attended this kind of event many times already. However, she felt different when she attended her latest movie with Jake Cuenca and Sean de Guzman.
It is because the actress is still worrying when it comes to her safety amid the pandemic, based on the article in PEP. She shared that this feeling came from the fact that it is her first time again to attend an event with a huge crowd after the pandemic started.
To recall, Dimples Romana gave birth a few months ago. “First time kong mag-attend na medyo full-blown na event. Medyo praning pa rin po ako talaga. Pero, I mean… to support the movie, kay Direk Joel Lamangan, sa mga producers,” the actress said.
She had to make sure that she is safe because she needs to take of her baby when she comes home. “That’s why I put on my mask every time I can. So I guess, while watching, I still have it on,” the actress added.
Reportedly, the movie which is directed by Joel Lamangan received positive feedback from the viewers. The acting caliber of the cast was lauded also. The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board gave this movie R-18. This will be officially released in cinemas on December 25 along with other MMFF entries.
Meanwhile, Dimples Romana just came from Cebu for the shoot of the primetime Kapamilya series The Iron Heart featuring the tandem of Richard Gutierrez and Sue Ramirez.
