JAMES REID – Kapamilya actor and singer James Reid also had his share of terror moment with famous Director Cathy Garcia Molina.
Director Cathy Garcia Molina is famous for being the terror director. She is not easily impressed and the artists and celebrities who have worked with her have experienced her terror side. And James Reid is not an exception.
The actor-singer shared that it happened when during his newbie years in the industry. Two years after winning Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010, he did a series called “Pintada” in 2012 which was directed by Direk Cathy.
He was doing this scene in the series when ‘Cuuuuttt!!!’ blasted through the microphone. She went to him and screamed at him afterward. He admitted that at that time, he is really not aware yet of what it was like to be in shooting situations.
“After which, she apologized to me. ‘Yo, I was just making sure that you were taking this seriously. You know, you give it your all.’ She encouraged me afterwards,” she furthered.
It was bad but that experience also taught him a lot to be in that industry. It taught him to take everything seriously, respect the time of the people, and give his best.
She inspired him but at that moment, it made him feel like “crawling up like a little ball and jumping in the river” based on a report from PEP.
Meanwhile, James is currently focused on making music. He owns a music label and for years already, he focused on his craft in the music industry.
