Boy Abunda talked about Kris Aquino in a recent interview
King of Talk Boy Abunda debunked this rumor about his friendship with Queen of all Media Kris Aquino.
Boy and Kris did talk shows together in the past and their tandem onscreen was remarkable. Behind the camera, a strong friendship flourished between them and it is known to many showbiz fans how they would express their love for each other.
However, in 2019, rumors surfaced that they are no longer friends and it was alleged that they snubbed each other during an event.
In a recent interview on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS), one of the questions that were asked by the Kapuso journalist was about Kris Aquino. Boy Abunda said that he feels overwhelmed by his “King of Talk” moniker. He said that he has no queen.
Jessica said that he has and it is Kris Aquino. The male TV host said that Kris’s moniker is actually the Queen of all Media. Then, Jessica recalled the so-called “falling out that happened between Boy and Kris.
“Di ba Boy meron kayong falling out dati?” Jessica asked her guest and Boy replied, “Wala.” He share that he and Kris are okay and before the latter left the Philippines for her medical treatment in the US they talked.
They haven’t talked to each other again yet. Tito Boy admitted that their friendship is not perfect. “Wala kaming problema ni Kris na hindi namin napag-usapan,” the King of Talk said, adding that this includes things that are personal and political, as well as professional.
He also said that the only thing that lessened between them is the frequency of their meetings personally. Although they have debates on certain things, Boy said that he has always been like this in friendships.
The male TV host even said that it was Kris who even chose the house where he is living now. “Dito ikinasal si Kris,” Boy Abunda added.
