President Bongbong Marcos issued a directive ordering the grant of rice allowance and service incentives to the individuals who are employed to the government.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the order stated that the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) will be a one-time grant for employees who are working in the executive department. It rate will be uniform at not over P20,000.
According to Malacañang, those who are covered by the service incentive include the civilian personnel in national government agencies (NGAs). Those who are working in state universities and colleges (SUCs) as well as the government-owned or controlled corporations (GOCCs) are also entitled to the incentive.
