Vloggers Air Dismay to Malacañang Over Ensaymada Lunch During Event
Several vloggers aired their disappointment to Malacañang after they were only fed with “ensaymada” and juice during an event.
Recently, the Malacañang Palace holds a meet and greet event for vloggers to meet with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr on December 10, 2022. However, the event becomes controversial after some vloggers revealed their poor treatment.
Several bloggers on social media including Pebbles Cunanan and Maharlika criticized the said meet and greet due to Malacanang’s alleged treatment of the social media personalities. Based on some posts, they allegedly give ensaymada and juice for the lunch of vloggers.
“They called for a meet and greet, ang pagkakaintindi ko kasi sa meet and greet is a party, pero may eksena inutusan sila ipaintindi daw sa mga tao ang Maharlika Fund, anong meet and greet yan?” said Cunanan.
“Tapos ensaymada lang pagkain sa loob ng Malacañang makikinabang na rin lang naman kayo sa mga vloggers/bloggers di niyo pa hinandaan ng buffet like doon sa mga designers na DILAW na wala namang gawa. Hay naku, buti na lang hindi ako umattend baka nalait ko pa yang ensaymada, I don’t eat ensaymada at lunch juicemio.” he added.
Meanwhile, Maharlika also vented her frustration with the said event for their poor treatment of vloggers. She even shared some videos and photos comparing the event of vloggers against Malacañang Press Corps, calling it “discrimination”.
“Ensaymada ang lunch ng Marcos Loyalists/Vloggers sa Meet & Greet ni PBBM. Samantalang ang Malacañang Press Corps pang 5 star hotel at may music performance pa. SEE THE DIFFERENCE? Ang tawag diyan DISCRIMINATION,” she wrote in her post.
She also shared a snippet of a message from a fellow vlogger who attended the said event. According to the message, the vlogger also bemoaned how poorly they were treated and fed. It was also shared that there are some senior citizens who traveled from their province just to attend the event.
